The month of May is my time to continue on my journey to finding a healthy balance with a focus on me. I painted my nails this week. Yesterday I decided it was time to trim my dead ends. I called the salon and they had an appointment in an hour. On my way to the salon I had an idea to donate my hair. When I got there, I looked up the rules on my phone and asked the hair stylist if I had the 10 inches needed to donate to Locks of Love. I had 13 inches to donate and the rest is history! Enter, fresh new hair do…

This month also kicks off the second Make a Difference Monday (tomorrow). The first Monday of the month I will host a linky party that focuses on a different character trait each month. Bloggers can link up with their blog posts relating to this specific trait. The first month had a good turn out and I hope for even more bloggers to link up. Please spread the word! The directions to link up are here. May is all about RESPECT. If you missed April’s posts about Empathy check them out here. My goal is that teachers, parents and anyone else who influences children will use these ideas to take the time to teach character traits. It will make the world of difference in the lives of children everywhere!

You can still link up to the Empathy post today and enter to win a cute purse from Thirty-One Gifts!

Finally, here is my “currently.” I am linking up to Farley over at Oh Boy, Fourth Grade. I love reading Farley’s blog!

Happy Sunday Readers!!!!
