Hi everyone! I’m Mandy Bush and I am the executive assistant for Cardinal Rule Press (Maria’s publishing company). I am a mother of 2 (son and daughter) and I will be blogging on Be the Difference and will be recapping some valuable tips from Empowering Kids With Character – The Show!
Maria shared with us, on July 19, that creativity does not have to cost money. You can watch the full video here.
This easy, but super creative, craft can be done on newspaper (Maria’s was done on rolled paper from IKEA), or even printer paper, and you will need some glue.

Have your children go into the yard (or go to a park!) and find things in nature and create a mural/collage by gluing those items on the paper (be sure that you set clear guidelines about what they can pick if you’re not at home!). They can use long blades of grass, leaves, flower petals, etc. It’s a great way to watch their creativity come to life as they use their imagination!
