Welcome to this quarter’s blog series, Three Things Thursday!
I am here to share just THREE things that I am into right now to enhance my world as wife, mom and work from home business owner.
Feel free to reach out at any time if you have any questions about the information I share. I got this idea from the awesome newsletter I receive each week from Mama Natural. Such a great idea for busy women!
1. Three Gift Rule
In our family, we started the tradition when the kids were born that they get three gifts under the tree from Santa. Why? Because the three wise men gave three gifts to baby Jesus. They also get one gift from my husband and I and several other generous gifts under the tree from family. For the three gifts, we try for something to wear, something to read and something to play with. We also stuff their stocking with other small goodies. It’s helped us to feel like we can celebrate the reason for the season without feelings of “too much.”
2. Holiday Bucket List
Next month becomes busy and sometimes we get so wrapped up in the day to day hustle that we forget to enjoy the magic and beauty of the season. Check out these holiday bucket list ideas. Print off a free blank list, sit down with your family and create your very own bucket list for next month. Take time to enjoy this special time of year with your loved ones 🙂
3. We are in the middle of putting on an addition to our house.
We love our neighborhood and considered moving but at the end to the day, being in a community that you love and feel good about raising your children is pretty important. We found a way to add on, making space for guests to stay over and more room to entertain (we have discovered we are becoming the glue in our family as our parents get older we host more and more) Check out the new pinterest board I created to save creative ideas we may or may not use once we get to the final stages!
