Welcome to this quarter’s blog series, Three Things Thursday!
I am here to share just THREE things that I am into right now to enhance my world as wife, mom and work from home business owner.
Feel free to reach out at any time if you have any questions about the information I share. I got this idea from the awesome newsletter I receive each week from Mama Natural. Such a great idea for busy women!
1. Boo Kit
A friend and colleague of mine created this super Halloween Boo Kit. Okay, let’s start at the very beginning. What is Boo-ing? This is a newer Halloween tradition where you leave a bag of treats on a neighbors porch. Then neighbors who have been boo’d put up a ghost on their front door to let others on the street know they have been boo’d and basically to skip them and allow another family a chance! It’s a fun tradition that allows children to pay it forward to others in their community.
2. Favorite Chili Recipe
It’s that time of year when the weather here in Michigan gets cooler and our menu changes from pasta salads and outdoor grilling to soups and stews. Here is a link to my favorite chili recipe for the fall!
3. Klutz Sewing Kits
It’s not everyday my kids get a gift that provides hours and hours on end of entertainment. Well, that happened back in April for my daughter’s 8th birthday and I am here to tell you all about it. Ruby received the Klutz kit (book and materials) “Sew Many Treats” She proceeded to spend hours, independently creating these adorable, mini plush characters. She passed them out to friends and started her own collection. We bought her the “Sew Many Animals” as a back-to-school gift and gave it to her that last week of summer when the kids were really ready to get back to a normal school routine. I highly recommend these kits! If you have a younger child, the My Sew Friends projects are great to help them learn to sew at a beginner level (my five year old can do these.)
