Three Things Thursday October - mariadismondy.com

Welcome to this quarter’s blog series, Three Things Thursday!

I am here to share just THREE things that I am into right now to enhance my world as wife, mom and work from home business owner.

Feel free to reach out at any time if you have any questions about the information I share. I got this idea from the awesome newsletter I receive each week from Mama Natural. Such a great idea for busy women!

1. Halloween Craft

Surprise the kids with a holiday craft this month! With the rigorous curriculum in schools today, children do not always have a chance to tap into their creative side. Here are a few of my favorite Halloween crafts that don’t require you to break the bank with supplies.

2. Age appropriate chores

Team Dismondy! We give our children age appropriate responsibilities to take care of in our home. It’s good for the parents, the house and raising responsible children! Chores also allow children to practice their independence and to possibly earn an allowance as they get older. If you don’t know where to begin, check out this chart for ideas on chores for different age groups.

3. Are you addicted to your phone?

This article points out that devices are not only affecting our children’s social skills but adults as well! Take a quick look and find out why it’s important to make dinner time a phone-free area!
