Welcome to this quarter’s blog series, Three Things Thursday!
I am here to share just THREE things that I am into right now to enhance my world as wife, mom and work from home business owner.
Feel free to reach out at any time if you have any questions about the information I share. I got this idea from the awesome newsletter I receive each week from Mama Natural. Such a great idea for busy women!
1. My Planner
Often times I am given praise for my ability to be productive and remain focused on my business while raising three young children. I appreciate everyone’s kind words but honestly, I give credit to my planner. I use the Day Designer planner and think it is the best for the following reasons. First of all, it gives you a place to pay gratitude each day. It also has a place to add your “top three” each day. This helps me to prioritize what three tasks I need to put my time and energy into first. The other organizer I use is called Power Sheets. This is for more of a big picture planning. First you take a look at the year then you break that goal into monthly and weekly tasks to help you reach the yearly or quarterly goal.
2. Bedtime
The kids have been in school for a month now and we are into a good routine. In our family we value reading before bed, a reasonable bedtime as well as one-on-one time for each child. My husband and I work hard together as a team to make this happen. That means saying no to some social events sometimes. We commit to being home as a family five out of seven days a week while the children are in these young developmental stages.

3. Podcast Interview
If you haven’t heard me talk about it before, I am a HUGE fan of listening to podcasts. I love how we have access to free entertainment and education on our smartphones.
Over the past year, I have been interviewed on several podcasts as well. If you are interested in hearing about my business journey, tune into one or more of the interviews below!
My current favorite podcasts to listen to: Invisibilia by NPR, Wow in the World by NPR (to listen to with my kids), Young House Love with Sherry and John Pertsik, The Yarn with Travis Jonker and All the Wonders with Matthew C. Winner
