About the Book-Brontorina by James Howe
Brontorina has a dream. She wants to dance. But Brontorina is rather large — too large to fit in Madame Lucille’s dance studio. Brontorina does not have the right shoes, and everyone knows you can’t dance without the proper footwear. Still, Brontorina knows, deep in her heart, that she is meant to be a ballerina.

What this book teaches-Diversity & Acceptance
My review of the book:
This is a story about a brontosaurus who wanted to dance. She had a dream to dance but the dance school instructor said “You are a dinosaur and you are not a ballerina”. The kids said things like, “You are too big” ,“You don’t have the right shoes” and “You can’t be in our dance class”. But the dance instructor had some faith in the brontosaurus and allowed her to come into the class. The brontosaurus had some struggles in the story, but she persevered. It’s a story about acceptance and a story about determination to see what happens with the dinosaur who wants to dance.
