About the Book-The Cloud by Hannah Cumming

Everyone has bad days, and children are no exception. When a black cloud descends on a little girl at school, support from a classmate with a great deal of imagination helps to brighten up everyone’s lives. The atmospheric illustrations really tell the story in this delightful picture book from a new author/illustrator.

What this book teaches-Happiness

My review of the book:

This book explains the old saying of having a little black cloud above someone. There is a little girl, and they are in art class. She can’t think of anything to draw and someone wanted to be her friend. This happy little person continued to approach the girl, who couldn’t think of anything to draw and had a little black cloud above her, and it’s really sweet to see how one friend makes several attempts to make another person smile and become friends with that person. Before long, at the end of the story, the little girl, who didn’t have any friends, felt full of friendship and the other children in the class were kind and generous to her.
