About the Book-Fly Away Home by Eve Bunting
A homeless boy who lives in an airport with his father, moving from terminal to terminal trying not to be noticed, is given hope when a trapped bird finally finds its freedom.
What this book teaches-Compassion
My review of the book:
A story about compassion and a father and son who are homeless. The setting is in an airport. I would recommend this story for children grade 3 and older. It’s a heavy subject that younger children may not understand.
