Dr. Colleen Carroll is an international reading consultant, working with families globally to improve children’s reading by providing parents the support and know-how to help their child. She created Innovative Reading to put the power of helping struggling readers in parents’ hands, so they can assist their child right at home, in just 10 minutes a night. Her coaching, ebooks and online programs have helped thousands of parents, bringing 16 years of literacy expertise to handle concerns about any struggling or disengaged reader. Dr. Carroll writes a blog on her website, as well as a monthly newsletter to parents, and is published widely in sources such as Educators’ Voice, NY Metro Parent, and MindBodyGreen.com as well as college preparatory text books for educators. She speaks at conferences and workshops to both parents and educators, and to private groups upon request. Dr. Carroll has a BS in elementary education, a MS in Reading and a doctorate of Educational Leadership.
