We have had many changes happening around our house. Besides potty training, we moved our toddler to a big girl bedroom. She jumped out of her crib and we knew it was time. We figured it can’t hurt to get these transitions out of the way before the new baby arrives so there are no feelings of big kid being kicked out of her room for the new baby!
I am really excited about how her room turned out. Here are some shopping sources of the details.
Upper left hand corner (the reading book): Book shelves are spice racks from Ikea: $3.99 painted white. The green and white polka dot chair is PB Kids but I ordered the inserts on ebay $25.00 and bought the cover on clearance at the outlet $13.99
Middle Picture: The heart on canvas is from Meijer $12.99 The colored frames are $7.99 from Hobby Lobby The white frames are from Michaels The chalkboard butterfly was a gift and the metal cut out frames are from and were bought with a free gift certificate.
Upper right hand corner: The green picture frame was purchased from Salvation Army, I removed the picture and glass then added rope with mini clothes pins to hang instagram photos. The instagram prints were purcahsed from Persnickity Prints.
Lower left hand corner: Lamp is from Target $12.99 Frame on wall is from Ikea. Print is from Pinterest/Etsy. The bookshelf was from the PB outlet and is part of the bedroom set.
Lower right hand corner: The full sized platform bed is from the PB outlet (we got a steal of a deal on it. $1800 retail and less then $200 out the door!) The flower quilt was on clearance from The Land of Nod, along with the pillow shams which were not part of a set but I thought they matched pretty well. The striped pillows were summer specials from IKEA. Sadly, none of these items are available at this time.
