I wanted to share three tasty treats our family has been enjoying this summer! Ever since I started taking my Beautiful Babies class, I am learning more and more about the importance of eating REAL foods. I am happy to report that some of our favorite summer desserts fall into this REAL food category.
1. Watermelon Milkshakes. The ingredients are super simple: frozen watermelon, milk and sugar. I can’t help but throw in some chipped spinach (like I do with eggs, smoothies, and many other things I make) Here is where I first learned about these delicious shakes.
2. Zipsicles-I mentioned this earlier this summer and I am so happy with how much my girls love their popsicles. They are filled with super nutrients and at the same time I am a cool mom for letting them have a summer treat!
3. Yonanas Ice Cream Treat- We were at a friends house Saturday and he made us an ice cream treat. The ingredients? Frozen fruit. That’s it. I am here to tell you that the consistency is JUST LIKE SOFT SERVE ice cream. It’s unreal and I can’t wait to buy our own Yonana machine!
