I read Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn over our family trip.
The book came highly recommended by a few different friends.
I loved that I couldn’t put it down, always a sign of a good book. It didn’t take any time at all to get into it like other books I’ve read lately. The story line is about a husband and a wife and the ups and downs of their marriage. But not the normal ups and downs of a marriage. It was creepy. That’s the best way to describe it. Creepy and filled with suspense. Mysterious and reminded me of watching Dateline on a Friday night. The best part? I was reading about the book online this morning and I found out that it is being written into a screenplay and Reese Witherspoon is being cast as the main character Amy! I love when a good book goes to film (or to an off Broadway Musical!)
