I was featured in an article this morning in The Farmington Observer. It mentions my love of journal writing. Yes, it is true that I have close to twenty diaries. I love reflective writing. When I was pregnant with my first daughter, I started writing to her in a diary. I still write to her in that same journal. I also started one for my second daughter. I want them to remember how I felt as a mother when they are older and grown with children of their own. I want them to remember the sweet things they do and say. Above all, if they are ever in doubt of how much they are loved, they will find it documented in my diaries.
I love this video because it’s from a Dad’s perspective (it’s a theme this week, read this post from a Dad’s perspective). I tear up everytime I watch it. I am the memory keeper in our household. Memories mean the world to me. So what did I do? I went ahead and opened up an email address for both my children. I shared the address with their grandparents, aunts, uncles and other special people in their lives. We are on email everyday. How easy is it to send a quick message to a loved one? What are you waiting for? Go ahead and compose a letter to a loved one!
