I’ve met some pretty fabulous people in the blogging community. I’ve also learned what a strong community it is! Bloggers out there are helpful and want to connect with each other and share what they can with their readers. Today I am linking up with a few bloggers I was introduced to from my friend Kim over at Joy in 6th Grade. Thanks Kim!

When I first started blogging (two months ago) I asked my mom friends what they would like to read about in a blog. Remember, I don’t claim to be an expert in every area of child development and parenting but I am determined to find the resources for my readers and post them here.

Today, I am sharing the words of an expert in the field of children’s counseling. Barbara over at The Corner on Character wrote about Self-Esteem a few days ago. This post is a MUST READ for parents (and teachers)! I would like to add another great book to read to your children when teaching them about Self-Esteem, I’m Gonna Like Me by Jamie Lee Curtis.

The first “Linky Party” is from Farley over at Oh Boy, Fourth Grade. It is called Currently and it offers a chance for readers to get to know their blogger in a unique way! The second Linky Party is called “What do You Love?” with Kimberly over at Funky First Grade Fun.

For any of my teacher friends reading this. All three blogs mentioned above offer loads of freebies for teachers!

Stay tuned for Things I Love Thursdays tomorrow!

P.S. I use Rafflecopter for my giveaways and tonight ends their contest to giving away a Kindle Fire and an Ipad 2!!!
